"The studio itself was everything I could ask for. We recorded acoustic guitar "live" through a mic'd amp in the performance room, electric guitar and bass DI in the mixing booth and vocals in the vocal booth. At one point, while we were recording my acoustic guitar (and it sounding really good,) Elliot suggested we switch to an acoustic he had in the studio. It made a world of difference with a tone more appropriate for the style I was going for.
